Dear Parents and Guardians, 

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your family to Dragon Lake Elementary School! 

As a parent/guardian of a child in our school you are automatically a member of our Parent Advisory Council (PAC). How much you want to be involved is up to you! 

What is the Parent Advisory Council or PAC? 

PAC is an organization of parents/guardians and staff. PAC promotes a school community where teachers, administrators, and parents use the resources we can provide to help make school FUN! 

The grants and fundraising help PAC support some of the following things: 

• Equipment (snowshoes, cross country skis, washing machine, school spirit shirts, kitchen supplies, etc.) 

• Events and transportation (family BBQs, school wide movie day, field trip bussing, etc.) 

Want to get involved? 

Ways to be involved:

 • Join our Facebook Group (Dragon Lake Parent Advisory Council), for volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, deadlines, and meeting minutes 

• Volunteer to help cook/serve for our weekly hot lunch program 

• Attend our monthly (1hour) PAC meetings as often as you like (babysitting provided) 

• Volunteering can be as little as 1 hour on a one-time basis -- we can find a fit for anyone and appreciate anything you can offer!
